November 18, 2020

Today, the Cuyahoga County Board of Health issued a stay-at-home advisory, effective immediately and lasting through December 17. As a result, there are some changes we must make on campus to help protect the health and safety of faculty, staff and students.

Starting Thursday, November 19, the following protocols will be in place:
  • Non-essential staff and faculty will work and teach from home.
  • All lessons, rehearsals and classes will move to a virtual format (to be determined by and communicated by each faculty for their situation).
  • All in-person Preparatory recitals and events scheduled through December are suspended.

While today’s news about Cuyahoga County is concerning, we are dedicated to safely keeping the music playing. The protocols in place on campus and your dedication to following them has allowed our community to persevere with an extremely low incidence of positive cases. We will continue to monitor and communicate any new information from Cuyahoga County and the State of Ohio. The most important thing each of us can do is commit to finishing strong by taking all possible precautions, all the time.

Sincerely,

Jerrod Price
Executive Director of Preparatory, Enrollment and Pathway Programs
