From the United Church of Christ:
"The United Church of Christ has been on the front lines for decades, working for justice and equality for LGBTQ folk. With the landmark decision from the Supreme Court this week, we thank God for the realignment of the USA’s laws towards justice and equality. As we celebrate, we know the work is not done. While we are continuing to build a Just World for All, we can display our reason for doing the work: God is Love."
Your ONA Committee
Our inspiring and centering Zoom services for the ONA family will continue during the pandemic. June 7th started a twelve-week Open and Affirming celebration.
These services are designed to supplement online worship in your own congregation. Daily Morning Prayer is a 15-minute centering experience with psalm, scripture, silence, prayer and Taizé chant. It's offered at 9 am EDT and PDT. The Sunday evening service includes a message, music and virtual Holy Communion.
