Uber Eats Discounts
The City of Miami Beach and Uber Eats are offering savings for Miami Beach residents and app users now through Aug. 14. Uber Eats also donated meal vouchers to city employees who aided during the Surfside response.
Uber Eats is offering a $0 delivery from independent, small-business restaurants in Miami Beach. Residents and app users can use a one-month free trial of Uber Eats Pass, with 5% discount on eligible orders. New users get up to $10 off first order from a Miami Beach restaurant using Uber Eats promo code, “MiamiBeach10”.

Miami Beach Small Business Grants
Small businesses in Miami Beach are encouraged to apply now for a $20,000 emergency grant for rent, mortgage, utilities, payroll, and operating expenses.
As a condition of accepting the grant, small businesses must retain or create one job filled by a Miami Beach resident or business owner of low-to-moderate income. Businesses should have 2020 and 2021 business tax receipts, tax returns, bank statements, payroll documents, invoices, and proof of payment for eligible expenses.
To date, 16 businesses have each received a $20,000 grant. The grants are awarded on a first-come, first-qualified basis. Interested businesses are encouraged to review application guidelines and apply by August 31, 2021 here.

COVID-19 Testing and Vaccination Site Near City Hall
Nomi Health is conducting COVID-19 testing and vaccine administration in the city parking lot on 17 Street and Convention Center Drive. The walk-up site operates seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no appointment necessary, offers Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, and PCR nasal swab test results in less than 24 hours.
