Submit your OSBA Legislative Platform resolutions

The OSBA Legislative Platform guides the association's advocacy efforts at the Statehouse and beyond. Every year, member boards have the opportunity to submit suggested changes to the platform for review. If you and your fellow board members would like to see an issue considered for this year's platform, create a resolution and send it to OSBA Director of Legislative Services Jennifer Hogue by May 31.

Leo Lucas Scholarship accepting applications until April 7

This scholarship honors the late founder of OSBA's Black Caucus, Dayton City board member Leo Lucas. It provides graduating high school seniors from ethnically diverse backgrounds with funds for college. Be sure to share the application information with eligible students in your district.

Lima astronomy students teach middle-schoolers on upcoming eclipse

Lima City’s Lima Senior High School astronomy students are preparing middle school students for the April 8 total solar eclipse. Partnering with Lima North Middle School, the high school students have crafted presentations, including PowerPoint slides and physical props, to educate fifth- through seventh-graders about safely observing this celestial event.
