Illustration of Thank you in many languages

The Masterson Meets track series successfully held two of its three scheduled events; unfortunately, the final meet was cancelled due to inclement weather. Race Director Laura Amin extends her sincere gratitude to all the volunteers who made the series possible, especially Deborah Young, Nut Hall, Tom & Mary Lou Lyden, Roberta Watson, and Justin Peake. We were also honored to have Dan Masterson’s wife Debby as a volunteer. She expressed her family's appreciation for this tribute to his memory.

Dawson’s Father’s Day 10K

3rd Leg of the Championship Series

Sunday, June 21st, 2026, 8:00 AM

Severna Park High School

The Champ Series continues on June 21st with this fast out-and-back race up the B&A Trail from Severna Park High School! Online registration closed last night, but you can still sign up on race morning for $25. Registration & number pick-up open at 6:30 AM. Visit RunSignup.com/FathersDay10K for more info about the event. We’re also pleased to announce that our overall & Masters winners will receive waterproof car seat covers generously donated to us by Happegear!

VOLUNTEERS WANTED! While we believe we have most of our bases covered, we can always use a few more volunteers. E-mail race director Delia at FathersDay10K@annapolisstriders.org if you’d like to help!

UNCLAIMED 2025 CHAMP SERIES AWARDS: If you are one of the handful of folks who were unable to pick up your 2025 Championship Series award at the annual banquet, B&A, or Cherry Pit, we will have these awards available to grab at Dawson's! We'll also bring any awards that remain to the following weekend's Wall Mile. Please e-mail the Keeper of the Awards if you'll be unable to attend either event, and we'll figure something out.

John Wall Memorial One Mile Track Run

4th Leg of the Championship Series

Saturday, June 27th, 2026

Annapolis High School

Come on out to Annapolis High School (note the new location!) on June 27th for the shortest race in our Champ Series, and see how fast you can run four laps (plus an extra 9.344 meters). Don't be intimidated– The event is run in separate heats based on estimated finish time, so you'll be racing with others of similar speed. Runners of all ages & abilities are welcome to take part! Visit RunSignup.com/WallMile for complete details and to register. Please note that this coming Wednesday, June 24th is the final day of early online registration, so don't wait too long to sign up!

VOLUNTEERS WANTED (AGAIN)! We know the Wall Mile is only six days after Dawson's, but hopefully a few of you will be willing to pitch in. At this one we need people to help with number pick-up and with timing chip pulling at the finish line. Given the multi-heat format of the Wall Mile, though, you can both run AND volunteer at this one! So e-mail the race directors at JohnWallMile@annapolisstriders.org if you'd be willing to assist.

Annapolis Ten Mile Run

Sunday, August 30th, 2026

Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium

With two and a half months until race day, the 51st annual Annapolis Ten Mile Run already has well over 3,000 entrants, and if you’re not yet among them, head on over to RunSignup.com/A10 and sign yourself up! The entry fee rises again on Wednesday, July 1st, so be sure to get in before then to save a few bucks. The A-10 is our club's premier event, with a scenic course, great finisher premium, and a fun post-race party with live music by Rickshaw Lizard and beer from Forward Brewing, so this race is not to be missed!

Not up to running 10 miles this year? VOLUNTEER! The A-10 requires the help of hundreds of volunteers each year, so if you're in town but not running the race, or if you have a spouse/partner and/or family/friends who aren't running, please consider being a part of our A-10 volunteer crew! Visit RunSignup.com/A10/volunteer/ or e-mail our volunteer coordinator at a10volunteers@annapolisstriders.org if you'd like to help on race day and/or work packet pick-up at our Saturday race expo. And if you know of an organization, business, or school group that is looking for volunteer opportunities, please have them contact us! The A-10 has always been a community event, and we love it when the community gets involved.
