Nash
Nash is a 2.5 year old mix breed who is looking for his forever home. This handsome guy is an active boy who likes to go for adventures! He loves being with his people and does well with children. Unfortunately his owners have made the decision to re-home him due to having difficulty living with smaller animals. Nash is an amazing dog and is a giant snuggle bug! Zeke
Zeke is a stunning 6-year old Pit Bull mix. He was adopted as a puppy and was very much loved! Unfortunately Zeke’s owner passed away and now there there is a new born in the home, which is too much for Zeke so he needs a quieter home. He does well with children over 5 and is very gentle with them. Zeke has not lived with other dogs but has done well with them at doggy daycare. He is an amazing dog and would love a family that can be dedicated to him. Apply today!

Princess
Princess is approximately 2-3 years old and is looking for her forever home. She was found as a stray with her babies. She has a few quirks but honestly who doesn’t! She can be reactive when walking by other dogs but she is working hard on this and is making improvements. Princess will need an owner who is familiar with reactive dogs. She is very sweet and loving, although she is independent at the same time. Princess is crate trained, and willingly goes into her crate to eat or take a nap. She is very smart and loves obedience training, so continuing her education would make her happy. Princess is a great dog who does well with children. Please consider adopting Princess.

Jax
Jax is the cutest beagle! He is about 3 years old and cannot wait to meet his forever family. Jax has had a run of bad luck. His owner became ill and can no longer care for him. Jax is a fun and happy boy who does great with dogs, cats and children. He is very easy going but a typical beagle and can be vocal at times. He loves people and is a great family dog. Jax would make a wonderful addition to any family.

- 1/16-1/19 Boston Celtic Music Festival - The 22nd annual Boston Celtic Music Festival, known as BCMFest, returns to Club Passim, Somerville Theatre, Crystal Ballroom, The Burren and The Rockwell January 16-19, 2025. Presented by Passim, a Cambridge-based non-profit that supports a vibrant music community through Club Passim, the Passim School of Music, artist grants and outreach initiatives. The 2025 festival will showcase Greater Boston’s deep tradition of music, song and dance from Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton, Quebecois and other Celtic communities. BCMFest features acts that are traditional as well as others that draw on contemporary sounds and ideas; full-time, professional touring acts as well as local session musicians; highlighting performers from across the generations.
- 1/17-1/20 Boston RV & Camping Show - The Boston RV & Camping Expo is an annual fair held every January, establishing itself as a central hub for all enthusiasts of recreational vehicles and camping. Founded and organized by Paragon Group, Inc., the expo offers an extensive showcase of products and services related to camping and outdoor activities. The primary focus of the expo is the presentation of the latest models of recreational vehicles. Ranging from motorized motorhomes to trailers and caravans, the expo covers a wide spectrum. Not only are the vehicles themselves showcased, but also related accessories and hitch couplings, which are of particular interest to camping enthusiasts. In addition to vehicles and equipment, information is also provided on attractive and scenic campgrounds in the USA. Travel information centers seize this opportunity to offer holiday tips and recommendations for camping vacations. Another highlight of the Boston RV & Camping Expo is the accompanying seminars, which take place on all days of the fair. These seminars offer valuable knowledge about camping and are of interest to both beginners and experienced campers.
- 1/20 Boston Museum of Fine Arts – Free Admission Day, MFA will celebrate Dr King's legacy with special exhibitions, performances, and free admission on Dr Martin Luther King Jr Day. Look for family-friendly activities and special exhibits throughout the museum celebrating Dr King, who lived in Boston while studying at Harvard and BU.
- 1/25 RI Brewfest - Join us on January 25, for this celebration of American craft brewers and sample from 50+ breweries and over 200 styles of beer. The event will have two sessions from 1:00 – 4:00 PM and 5:30 – 8:30 PM. All beverage samples are included in your ticket, access to food vendors and much more. Every attendee will receive a custom glass as they exit the festival.
- 1/31-2/2 Monster Jam - Here’s your guide to Monster Jam®, the most action-packed motorsports event on four wheels. At the event, you will witness world-class driver athletes, and the most recognizable trucks tear up the dirt and compete in intense competitions of speed and skill.
- 2/1-2/2 RI Veg Fest promotes a fun and compassionate plant-based vegan lifestyle here in Little Rhody. We love eating plants, and if given the right opportunity, we think everyone else will, too. Our events are open to all, so if you’re vegan, vegetarian, or simply #PlantCurious, we’d love to see you there!

2/10-2/18 Boston's huge Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown features lion dances, drums, martial arts, and firecrackers, and when the weather cooperates, dragon dances. (The dragon dancers' somewhat fragile costumes don't hold up well in snow, rain, or strong wind, so Boston's winter weather doesn't usually cooperate.) The Lion Dance parade kicks off at the main stage in Philips Square (corner of Harrison Ave and Beach Street), continues to Essex Street, winds its way other nearby Chinatown streets, and then the dozen or so groups of performers spread out through the neighborhood to continue their performances for the rest of the afternoon. Depending on the weather (ie, not too much snow or ice on the streets), there may also be martial arts demonstrations and drumming. An indoor event, Chinese New Year Cultural Village, takes place inside the China Trade Building (2 Boylston Street) and gives young children and their parents a place to warm up between 10am and 3pm. This event is sponsored by the Chinatown Main Street organization and includes special performances, traditional Chinese crafts, games, snacks, other family-friendly activities, and festive lanterns and balloons.
