President's Message:

Happy New Year everyone! We hope your 2025 is off to a great start! Your 2025 FPA of Michigan Board is eager to engage with you – our FPA Michigan community. We have several initiatives planned for this year, focusing on enhancing connections within our member community, practice support, and continuous learning and growth. Our committees are actively working on the plans for the year. Are you interested in learning more about our committees and getting involved? Please let us know!  

We have a great team serving the board again this year. We hope you will join us in welcoming new board members Kelsey Arvai and Adam Finch. We want to say thank you to board members whose terms ended in December 2024: Beth Zilka, Sandy Adams, and Del Wensley. We are grateful for these members who served our board and our chapter with their time, expertise, and talents, giving so much of themselves for our profession! 

We are also excited to welcome Sarah Caruana as our new Chapter Executive! Sarah brings to the FPA of Michigan a breadth of experience in corporate operations and leadership in non-profit organizations and associations. At the same time, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mary Medonis for her incredible dedication, hard work, and passion for the FPA of Michigan over the past 20 years. Mary has played an essential role in helping to guide our chapter to where it is today, and we are truly grateful for all of her contributions. We look forward to the exciting journey ahead with Sarah and remain thankful for the strong foundation laid by Mary.

Advisor Growth Workshop

To kick off the year, Dimensional is hosting an exclusive Advisor Growth Workshop. This event is for any advisor with responsibility for driving client referrals to the organization. This could also be a service advisor looking to move up to spend more time on business development.

• Learn how to identify an ideal target client profile.
• Develop an understanding of the Cornerstones of Advice framework.
• Determine how to exhibit value to prospective clients.
