President's Message - Here’s to a great fall season with FPA of Michigan!
I hope this message finds you well, as we kick off the fall season. For many of us, summers always go by so quickly, but fall is also a wonderful time throughout our great state of Michigan. And we’re excited for what’s coming up in our FPA community over the next couple of months.
First, a big THANK YOU! to everyone that attended and sponsored our 5th Annual Student Success Scholarship Golf Outing this past Friday, September 12th, at Forest Akers West Golf Course in Lansing. In was a beautiful day for golf, connecting with old and new friends, and the opportunity to spend time with college students from Financial Planning programs around the state. Net proceeds from the outing help fund scholarships for future financial planners pursuing degrees at colleges and universities throughout Michigan.
Looking forward, the FPA of Michigan’s Annual Symposium is right around the corner! Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our Annual Symposium on October 9th and 10th at the E.V. Eberhard Center in downtown Grand Rapids. Don’t forget, new this year is a Super CE session with up to 6 credits for Michigan IAR – Product and Practices, 10 credits for CFP, 10 credits for CIMIA, and 17 CE credits for Michigan Insurance. Registration is open. Hope to see you there!
