A woman in Fremont was experiencing abuse from her husband and called in search of shelter that would provide a safe place for her to stay. She said she had reached out to different agencies on her own but was not having any luck. 211 staff provided her with A Safe Place’s 24-Hour Crisis and Information Hotline for help finding shelter and other domestic violence services.
