Alumni Achievements

Congratulations to these two outstanding young women of St. Gabriel Parish and School. We are so proud of them as wishing them the best!

MARRC NEWS

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making St. Gabriel Parish School shine during the recent Open House/Pancake Breakfast. From our set-up team, kitchen helpers, pulpit testimonials, and parent ambassadors to our middle school and alumni helpers—and everyone in between—your dedication and support made a tremendous difference.

Thanks to YOUR efforts, the event was a wonderful success! Here's a quick snapshot:

  • 261 pancake breakfasts served - a special thanks to Connie Helm who stepped up to organize and help cook the breakfast when our vendor canceled in early Jan.
  • 8 tours conducted
  • 2 new families already registered!
  • Mrs. Lestina continues to provide tours to prospective families and our school family continues to grow!

Looking ahead to the spring enrollment season, remember that word-of-mouth marketing is one of the most effective ways to continue to grow our school community. Don’t forget, that you can also earn a tuition credit for referrals!

Help us spread the word about the faith-filled learning, character-building, and academic excellence happening every day at St. Gabriel Parish School.

Thank you again for your incredible support!

Blessings,

IN THE CLASSROOMS

4th Grade!

Our 4th graders are exploring how the Earth's surface changes through erosion and weathering—including the power of water! To reinforce their learning, our music teacher, Mr. DeMers, got creative by using water to play songs!

A perfect blend of science and music and hands-on learning at its best!

To watch a video of the kids in action, click HERE

5th Grade!

The 5th-grade class has been hard at work creating a giant U.S. map, complete with capitals and unique details from each state.

This cross-curricular project blends social studies, music, and art as the students write and perform songs to help memorize their region’s states & capitals, Illustrate and add key details about their assigned states, and master the locations and capitals of all 50 states.

What an engaging and hands-on way to learn and collaborate as they bring geography to life!! Great job, 5th grade!

Middle School

Our middle schoolers are embracing rhythm!

In music class, they’re learning to salsa while exploring Latin music styles. Even during PhyEd, they continued their salsa lessons in the Parish Hall. Meanwhile, in Spanish, they’re diving into Puerto Rican culture.

What a fantastic way to connect the arts, blending music, dance, and culture with education. Great job, students and teachers, for making learning so enriching and fun
