Sol Fajardo G.

she/her

Major: Criminal Justice

Minor: Counseling & Social Change

Everyone meet Sol! Sol is one of our Sophomore Surge mentors and Center for Commuter Life Student Assistants. Sol is currently a fourth year transfer student getting her degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Counseling and Social Change. Sol commutes to campus every day by car from downtown San Diego. When Sol is on campus, her favorite place to hang out is the Commuter Resource Center because of it's central location in the student union and because of all the resources you can find in the center. One fun fact about Sol is that she is a first-generation student and moved to San Diego all the way from the Bay Area (San Jose specifically). If there is one piece of advice Sol would give to students, it would be to just take one thing at a time. It can be easy to get overwhelmed, so Sol wants you all to remember to always put your emotional and physical health first. Make sure to come stop by the Commuter Resource Center to say hi to Sol!
