you like to know more about ministries and missions for men in the Virginia Conference? The Virginia Conference UMMen is excited to announce a series of biweekly Zoom webinars to inform and keep all fellowships connected with Conference-wide ministries starting Wednesday, May 13 from 6:30pm to 7:30 pm.
Please join your brothers in Christ by video or dial-in to find out what ministries around the Conference are doing so that we can support them better than ever when the stay-at-home orders are lifted. Webinars will include a time of sharing, presentation, discussion, and questions and will last no longer than one hour. This will be time well-spent.
To connect, please join the Zoom meeting. Link below is valid for all meetings.

First up on May 13: Amending Through Faith: Domestic Violence Awareness
Todd Hoar and Dann Ladd will lead a discussion on Amending Through Faith, a program to engage men and boys in challenging a culture that supports violence against women. The program cultivates healthy masculinity and teaches men how to stand up against societal norms that objectify, shame, and otherwise denigrate women. Ten men from the Virginia Conference UMMen completed leadership and facilitator training in April and are available to facilitate and share this training at your church. The Virginia Conference UMMen also received a Micah 6:8 grant to publicize and promote this training.
All VA Conference UMMen webinars will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Webinar recordings will be posted on our web page
