Even early on in this season of Advent, most of us are into preparations for Christmas. In addition to the list of things that we want checked off (the sooner the better) and the gifts we will buy, there is an inner voice in each of us that tells us there is something deeper, more spiritual to which we need to be, pay attention. Most of us might label that “the true spirit of Christmas.”
