Dear Beloved in Christ,
On January 5th, I was graced with a heartwarming email from Fr. Marcel Tabone. He currently serves with devotion as the supply priest at St. Simeons by the Sea. In a beautiful gesture of unity and fellowship, Fr. Marcel extended a heartfelt invitation to all nearby Episcopal congregations, including The Church of the Advent, St. Barnabas, Somers Point, and Ocean City. His vision is to bring us together to worship and celebrate the Easter Vigil as one large, vibrant Episcopal family.
This invitation is a wonderful opportunity for us to strengthen the bonds of our faith community. It serves as a reminder that we are not just individual congregations, but part of a larger, interconnected family, united in our love for Christ and each other. Participating in this service allows us to experience the richness of our Episcopal tradition, shared through diverse voices and perspectives, while remaining rooted in our common faith.
I wholeheartedly support this vision of collaboration and unity. I am committed to working alongside all of our congregations, fostering a spirit of mutual support and companionship. It is with great gratitude and excitement that I accept this invitation. I encourage each and every one of you to join in this special service on March 30th.
Let us embrace this occasion not just as an event, but as a sacred moment to deepen our faith, to grow in love, and to witness the power of our united presence in Christ. Together, we will lift our voices in prayer and song, celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and the unbreakable bond that connects us as members of the Episcopal family.
May this year's Easter Vigil be a time of renewal and joy, as we come together in fellowship and worship. I look forward to seeing you there, as we share this blessed experience and continue to nurture the light of Christ within our community.
With love and blessings,
Mo. Allison+
