We are in need of greeters, ushers, eucharistic ministers, and if you prefer to work behind the scenes, altar guild members. Training will be available. Serving in church is not just a job—it’s a blessing! Come join the team!

More than 80 People Confirmed or Received in the Diocese of NJ Last Weekend

By the grace of God, more than 80 people were Confirmed or Received in the Diocese of New Jersey this weekend through a diocesan-wide Confirmation service at Trinity Cathedral and an Episcopal visitation to Grace Church in Haddonfield.

The diocesan-wide service at Trinity Cathedral brought together more than 200 worshippers and featured liturgy in both English and Spanish, reflecting the rich diversity of the Diocese and the participation of several of our Spanish-speaking congregations. Seventeen churches were represented among the confirmands and those being received, whose ages ranged from 13 to well into their 80s.

At Grace Church, Haddonfield, the congregation filled the church to standing-room-only capacity as candidates were presented for Confirmation and Reception. In addition to the Confirmations and Receptions, five people were baptized, several of them older children and teenagers.

These joyful celebrations reflect the growth and vitality present across many of our congregations and serve as a powerful reminder of the Holy Spirit's continuing work throughout the Diocese of New Jersey.

God willing and the people consenting, on June 20, at 2 PM, Ordinations to the Sacred Order of Deacons will be held at Trinity Cathedral in Trenton. Clergy in attendance are asked to vest in cassock, surplice, and red stoles.
