The Food Pantry - Invitation to a
Community Conversation
Wednesday July 15, 7:30 pm on Zoom

The Food Pantry has been part of the Potrero Hill community for many years, serving several hundred families every Friday afternoon at a Farmers’ Market-style pantry inside our church. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March, our pantry has shifted its operations to Saturday mornings, providing bags of groceries from the parking lot – and still serving hundreds of families weekly.
Our neighbors have been interested to see what’s been happening each Saturday, and many have responded generously with drive-by donations and offers of volunteer support for our efforts to respond to food insecurity during the pandemic.
On Wednesday, July 15, at 7:30 pm, St Gregory’s will be hosting a community conversation on Zoom, sharing the history and recent adaptations of The Food Pantry, and taking questions. Randy Bowman, Sue Tsai Clark, and Michael Reid, Co-Directors of the pantry, will be in conversation with Susanna Singer, one of the St Gregory’s clergy. Both our neighbors and our congregation members are most welcome to join in the conversation.  Please register here.
We look forward to seeing you on-screen on July 15 at 7:30!
