SHABBAT SHALOM
All morning and evening minyanim and Shabbat services are being held via ZOOM and can be accessed through the links below or by calling 929-205-6099 or 312-626-6799 and entering the appropriate Meeting ID. If you need help learning how to join a Zoom meeting, please check out this how-to guide.

You might notice one important change this Shabbat - our bar mitzvah family (limited to the child and parents only) will Zoom with us from the Tifereth Israel sanctuary! They will be there with Cantor Chomsky, all masked and appropriately socially distant. Although services will continue to be conducted on Zoom, as they have been these past months, we intend to offer this special opportunity to future b'nai mitzvah families as well.
Would you like an aliyah during a virtual Shabbat service? Click HERE or contact Rabbi Hillel Skolnik at 614-928-3297.

UPDATES
HAND MADE MASKS TO BE AVAILABLE AT SYNAGOGUE DOOR
Tifereth Israel Board 2nd Vice President Jan Lyddon is working with the Stitching Sisters, a volunteer organization that makes quilts for cancer patients at Tifereth Israel, to sew cloth face masks that will be available to synagogue members entering the building when religious services resume. Although it is unknown when the building will open, it is likely members will be encouraged to bring their own masks and use these masks if needed. If you would like to volunteer to help make these masks, please contact Jan .
SPOTLIGHT 2020: CANTOR CHOMSKY'S OPUS
DOING BUSINESS WHILE CTI REMAINS CLOSED FOR COVID-19
As a community, we are very excited and eager to honor Cantor Jack Chomsky as he prepares for retirement after 38 years of music, service, and leadership at Congregation Tifereth Israel. Unfortunately, due to the current health safety crisis, the beautiful Shabbat dinner and one-of-a-kind concert planned in celebration of our cantor must be postponed to an as of yet undetermined future date.

We are extremely grateful to the members of our community who have already committed to a sponsorship and/or made dinner/ticket purchases. While we await clarity on what the future holds, we encourage you, if you have not already done so, to continue to honor Cantor Chomsky in this way. To do so, please contact Joy Contreras at 614-928-3291.
The safest, most effective way to make membership payments and contributions while the synagogue remains closed is to use our electronic payment options. Electronic payments are not only efficient, but support the social distancing requirements demanded by the current health crisis. If you prefer, payments and contributions can also be made by phone.

LOGIN TO YOUR MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT
You can access your account by going to the Tifereth Israel website and clicking on " Member Login " at the top of the page. If you need help logging in, please contact Navah Moore at 614-928-3284 .

Use your credit card or make an electronic funds transfer directly from your bank account. For donations, including yahrzeit donations, please contact Wendy Lake by dialing 614-253-8523 and selecting option 8 for a staff directory or call Virginia Terry at 614-928-3288.

SURVEY FOR THOSE WHO NEED HELP OR CAN OFFER ASSISTANCE
After coordinating with  Jewish Family Services , we have created a survey , which we would encourage you to complete. It asks if you have the means to offer some kind of assistance, require assistance, or would like to share with us in confidence the name of someone who might need assistance but does not know how to ask. We are constantly brainstorming ways to protect the health of everyone in the community while still offering a way to help. Please fill out the survey and thank you, in advance, to all those who are able to help and to those who have the courage to ask for help in this time of need. Click HERE to find the survey and please feel free to share it with anyone who might need it.
ENTRYWAY PAVING BRICKS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
Paving bricks at Tifereth Israel's parking lot entrance are available to purchase. An eight-by-eight-inch brick with up to six lines of text (each containing up to 18 characters per space) costs $360. A four-by-eight-inch brick with up to three lines of text (each containing up to 18 characters) costs $180. Those interested in purchasing a brick should contact Executive Director Steve Friedman at 614-928-3269.
SUPPORT CTI WHEN YOU SHOP ONLINE OR AT KROGER
Help provide needed funds to Tifereth Israel, without changing your shopping habits. AmazonSmile  is operated by Amazon and has the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. But when you shop on AmazonSmile, 0.5% of your purchase is donated to Tifereth Israel. Search for us by name when you log into your account. Tifereth Israel also earns through the   Kroger Community Rewards   program. If you have a Kroger Plus card, please register it with the program and select Congregation Tifereth Israel to receive a donation based on your purchases each time you use your card. Please encourage your family and friends to use both of these services when they shop.
