Easter Photo Celebrations

We love seeing each other and connecting virtually, so this Easter do something special for your SunCoast family. Send photos of yourself celebrating Easter from home.

Here are some ideas:
  • Decorate an Easter hat using only items from your home or yard
  • Take a photo of yourself with a favorite Easter decoration or symbol
  • Send a photo of yourself as a child in an Easter outfit or
  • Put on your favorite current-day Easter attire and smile big

These pictures will be shown during our live stream Easter Day worship Service. Let’s make each other smile as we celebrate life and resurrection.

Join us, from home, for a remembrance of Jesus’ last days and crucifixion. The service will include Communion (from which you can participate from home) as we first recall the Last Supper Jesus celebrated with his disciples. Our service will end at the foot of the cross, taking in the sorrows of that moment while acknowledging our own sorrow and the sorrows of the world.

We are re-directing our “Easter Offering” from our capital campaign to our general fund and operating expenses. Members will receive a mailing with more details.

"We are the Church"

Rev. Nancy and Rev. Vickie share their reflections and prayers as you wonder what this time of quarantine, isolation and stay-at-home means for SunCoast MCC.

The Pastors prepared this video to address what this period of not being able to worship or assemble at Church means. In the video, they share their personal stories and reflections on what is a Church. They reiterate that there is no greater time, to be reassured, that SunCoast is active and alive today even though we are not able to assemble together in our Church Sanctuary.

Meditation Techniques with
Rev. Naomi King

Rev. Naomi King has prepared several videos to address one's feelings during a pandemic crisis. For some the increased isolation means not getting routine health care, not being able to visit friends and families and not being able to worship with their church community can cause worry about their future. Rev. King offers some reflections and techniques to acknowledge one's feelings.
