Everyone is invited to drive through the church parking lot for a quick hello and a blessing from our pastors. It will also be a return blessing to Rev. Nancy and Rev. Vickie to see your smiling faces! We miss you.
It will be a joy to connect face-to-face Board members will be there to assist with traffic flow, and we ask that everyone please stay in their cars to maintain social distancing. See you then!

Board of Directors Updates
|
As a follow-up to our April 6 update in "Staying Connected", we have good news to share. Due to our quick research efforts and sifting through the various loan applications and processes, we are excited to report that we have been granted:
- A loan from the Small Business Administration’s Payroll Protection Plan. The loan is to be used to fund payroll and to cover utilities for 2 months. As such, it may be considered for forgiveness if we meet their strict criteria.
- Permission from our financial lender to defer our mortgage payment for 3 months. This is an important win, since we are getting ready to refinance our mortgage. This 3-month deferral provides us the ability to apply our funds towards our monthly on-going operations during this time.
We are very thankful for receiving this SBA loan and deferment of our mortgage payment. PLEASE continue to support us as you have been so that we may continue to keep our doors, both virtually and physically, open.

Offering Update

Together, let's keep our General Fund and Pillars accounts liquid.
To minimally cover the Church expenses during this time, we need approximately $6,000 weekly.
For week ending April 12, we collected $6,467 for General Fund and Pillars and $4,600 for the Easter Offering. Thank you for your continued prayers and generosity.

Announcement
Rebecca Wilson
Joins the Staff of MCC
We are very proud to report that Rebecca Wilson, a new member of SunCoast MCC, has been hired by our denomination. She has assumed the role of Co-Coordinator for the Church Support & Development ministry led by Rev. Elder Hector Gutierrez. She joins the staff at a critical time when all our churches need extra resources, support and connection to MCC globally.
Rebecca is well-qualified for this demanding position, and we will do all we can to support her in this wonderful opportunity to use her skills and abilities. Rebecca is one of two MCC staffers who are members of SunCoast – the other is Janine McCarthy who has served MCC in several positions. In addition, Rev. Nancy and Jack Hutter are both retired from MCC leadership and staff. Rebecca, we are so proud of you, and offer our support and prayers!
