Worship in the Sanctuary

"In-person" attendance at worship in the Sanctuary on July 18 is open to 50 worshipers. Worship on July 25 through the summer is open to 100 worshipers.

We are asking our families to take part in performing acts of kindness throughout the summer. The more people take the challenge the kinder, safer, and more engaged our world will become!

So, become a "kindness ambassador" by signing up to take the challenge and begin to observe the impact you make as the "ripple effect" spreads.

With your sign-up, you will receive an email with the kindness challenges for the next 6 Summer Sundays.

Summer Backyard Ministry

Our youth (in grades 6-12) are invited to participate in one of our Hills Church Backyard Ministry opportunities throughout the summer:

Join Rev. Anne Marie in handing out supplies and food to the homeless with the ministers of the Outdoor Church in Cambridge on Sundays in July and August (7/25 and 8/29). Email Rev. Anne Marie for more information!
Youth are invited to choose a date to care for the Vegetables in the Community Gardens by signing up HERE.

Tuesday Morning Meditation

On Zoom from 9:30 to 10:30 am

We gather via Zoom every Tuesday morning. Whether you are new to meditation or practice it daily . . . please join us and be restored during this time together. Questions? Email Mary Hill Canavan or Rev. Judy Swahnberg.

Wednesday Noon Prayers from the Hills

Tune into our Facebook page at noon on Wednesdays for a brief time (5-15 minutes) devoted to reflection and prayer. Rev. Judy Swahnberg and Rev. Anne Marie Holloway will alternate leading Wednesday noontime prayers throughout the summer months!

Church Mouse Chatter

Calling all those who want to help in the church office. So many little things are needed to be done to open up after a year in Covid mode. And Susan needs office coverage when going on vacation. Would you like to be an "Office Angel" and help out with coverage or simple tasks? If so, please contact the church office to be added to a list. Thank you!

Are You A Techy?

This church mouse (Susan MacDonald) is is need of your help! We have an older (not so user friendly) phone system at the church with multiple extensions. I have tried to override Cynthia Gordan's message with mine, but no luck. I am hesitant to delete Cynthia's message for fear of losing all of the extension transfers. If this is your sort of thing - to figure out technical stuff - I could use your help. I have read the 3" thick (not kidding!) manual from 2006, and tried to contact their online/telephone support, which is just as difficult to maneuver as the church's phone! Please call or email me if you think you could help. Please! And thank you.

Check to see if you have a new name tag on the revolving board in the Narthex. Wear & Enjoy & Return to a slot! If you don't see your name tag, put your name on the clipboard list and Susan will make you a new one.
