Fifth Sunday in Lent
Good Enough: "We are Fragile, We are Strong”
Scripture: John 12: 1-8
This Sunday we hear the story of Mary anointing Jesus for burial, as Mary breaks through the denial that Jesus was in trouble, his life threatened by the authorities.
Life is fragile, and sometimes we are urged to just “be strong,” and stay in denial. Can we examine our definitions of weakness and strength? Can we embrace the fragility of life with honesty, compassion and vulnerability, like Mary and Jesus? Let’s open our hearts and minds together. . .
