Growing Older Gracefully Through A Pandemic!
Wednesdays, May 11,18, 25 and June 1, 10:30am to 12noon, bring a bag lunch to enjoy a time of fellowship afterwards, in person only.

Join us for a 4 week study of Sr. Joan Chittester’s powerfully affirming book, The Gift of Years: Growing OIder Gracefully, as we explore how aging influences our sense of purpose, how we face fears, navigate relationships, embrace new freedoms, learn and let go.

At SunCoast MCC, we have held several versions of this study over the years. This is version 3, especially tailored to help us explore how the pandemic has changed us, impacted us as we age.
Open to people of all ages, but, especially relevant to seniors.
Please register so we know how many to prepare for. You do not need to have the book, but, it is worthwhile...

You can register for the class by calling the Church office, using the registration form in the lobby or using the link below.
Save the Date

On May 12 at 7 PM we are having a movie night and we will be watching "Just Mercy". This is a powerful movie based on a true story.

"Just Mercy" follows young lawyer Bryan Stevenson and his history-making battle for justice.

The film is based on Stevenson's 2014 memoir, in which he explored his journey to making his life's work the defense of African American prisoners.
