Sunday, April 10 at
10 AM for
In-Person or Virtual Worship
Palm Sunday
Luke 19: 29-40
As we celebrate Palm Sunday, we will wave palm branches and sing our “Hosannas!”
And, we will be focusing on the fact that Jesus did not march into Jerusalem alone. He had followers, helpers, companions along the way – his own traveling village that supported him and grounded him in his purpose.
All of us are a “group project” – we did not shape ourselves – we became who we are because of our own “village,” those who influenced us, supported us, provided for us.
And, we will be thanking God for our own SunCoast MCC Village, in which the story of Jesus will be lived and celebrated during this Holy Week.

On Friday, April 22, at 7 PM we will be treated to an amazing evening of Hollywood lore and fun!
Ray Klausen, a member of SunCoast MCC, has written a memoir, “Behind the Scenes: From Hollywood to Broadway.”
Ray Klausen is famous for designing the sets for nine Broadway shows, more than 400 television shows, including for Cher’s Las Vegas special, and winning three Emmy Awards for Art Direction.
His memoir has been called, “a delicious smorgasboard,” chock full of stories of superstars and Oscar winners. In addition, he tells the harrowing story of rescuing someone during the tragic MGM fire in Las Vegas. Klausen weaves throughout the book his own life story of love and coming out.
Join Rev. Nancy Wilson, who will be interviewing Klausen for an amazing, entertaining evening!
You may purchase his book in advance, and he will sign your copy. We will have a few books for purchase the day of the event.
