“Known as Seekers of Justice”

Since its founding, MCC has been actively involved in social justice issues. Jesus came to earth to show humanity the way to God and how to live in ways that make a difference in society and he called out injustices, he showed compassion and extended mercy.

Join us this Sunday as we explore what the term “social justice” means and possible ways we can make a positive difference for all who are marginalized and disenfranchised in one way or another.

Update from Your Pastoral

& Congregational Care Team

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in our distress.

Therefore, we will fear nothing, even if the earth gives way

and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

even if the waters roar and foam

and the mountains tumble with their surging.

God is our refuge and strength."

~Psalm 46:1-3

We ask everyone to join us in prayer for:

The Black History Month 2023 theme, “Black Resistance,” explores how "African Americans have resisted historic and ongoing oppression, in all forms, especially the racial terrorism of lynching, racial pogroms and police killings," since the nation's earliest days.
