Whether working or retired, most of us live busy lives. Our schedules are often full! It’s not always easy to rest. Jesus tells us if we take his yoke upon us, we will find rest. How is adding something else to our already busy lives going to help us find rest?

Join us this Sunday as we discover ways to find rest and explore what Jesus meant by telling us to take on his yoke.

Stewardship Survey

The Stewardship team is asking you to complete this anonymous four–question survey, so we can better understand the relationship between congregants and giving. By taking just a few minutes to follow the link below, you can help our team better plan for the financial health of SunCoast MCC.

There will be computers set up after church on Sunday, with people available to help if needed. Additionally, you can contact Kim Rabon-Noyce in the church office, if you’d like to complete the survey over the phone.

We will share with you what we learn from the survey.

This Sunday, July 9, 2023, is Pillars Sunday. Please consider an extra monthly donation designated for Pillars to help pay for our Mortgage.

Become a MORTGAGE ANGEL by donating $111 to cover our mortgage for 1 day/month.

Our current mid-month mortgage payment is $3,366.55. Our Pillars Fund has collected $15,730 so far this year.

Our Mortgage is $469,000 - help pay it down !!

Lorna is back and ready to share her love of crafting with us all once again. Join her on Wednesday, July 12th and 26th from 10 AM to noon for a time of fellowship and fun.

No artistic or crafting talents needed.

Social Justice "Brunch and a Matinee"

We will be taking July off from book club, and will instead be having our second “Brunch & Matinee”. Following the Worship service on July 16th, we will have a light brunch followed by a movie. In recognition of July being “Minority Mental Health Awareness Month”, our movie will be The Soloist starring Jamie Foxx. This powerful movie tells the story of a talented musician who is homeless and deals with mental illness. Following the movie, we will have a brief discussion about the intersection of homelessness, mental health, and discrimination. We are asking you to sign up by following the link below or in person after church. This will help us plan for room arrangement and food. We are requesting a $5 donation at the door to help pay for the meal. If you have any questions, contact Kim Rabon-Noyce at the church office.

Landscaping Team Needs Your Help!

The Landscaping team is need of some gas cards for the lawnmowers. If you are able to pick up a card or two, please drop them off at the Church Office. Cards for any gas station will be greatly appreciated.

Supporting Our Community

We are starting our "Stuff the Bus with School Supplies" program. Again this year, we are collecting school supplies for two local Title 1 schools (Cranberry Elementary and Glenallen Elementary). Title 1 schools are those community schools with at least 60% or more whose families are at or below the poverty level and could use our help. Below is a list of items each school has requested. We will be collecting supplies until the end of July. Bring your donations to the Church.

Thank you for your continued support and generosity of your time, talents and financial gifts.

Giving for the week of June 26 to July 2

Last week's donations were $5,914. This is $1,770 over our budgeted weekly operating expenses. Our Year to Date (YTD) donations are $164,036. This is $36,060 short of our estimated expenses YTD which includes $71,017 for Renovation & new HVAC.

The above includes donations of $15,730 for Pillars -

which is $4,469 less than our mortgage payments YtD.
