Matthew 10: 40-42

For the summer months, July and August, we will focus on "Following Jesus", in our times.

This Sunday, we will examine the spiritual gift of “hospitality,” as an expression of discipleship.

We will sing, “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus,” and learn about the example of Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer who stood up to evil in the name of Jesus in tumultuous times, like ours.

Joining us Virtually?

If you are joining us online, download the Virtual Bulletin using the link and participate with us.

We also ask that you share any prayer requests or needs in the Live Chat during Worship. Your feedback is very important as we strive to ensure your virtual worship experience is meaningful and filled with the love of God.

No artistic or crafting talents needed.

Social Justice "Brunch and a Matinee"

We will be taking July off from book club, and will instead be having our second “Brunch & Matinee”. Following the Worship service on July 16th, we will have a light brunch followed by a movie. In recognition of July being “Minority Mental Health Awareness Month”, our movie will be The Soloist starring Jamie Foxx. This powerful movie tells the story of a talented musician who is homeless and deals with mental illness. Following the movie, we will have a brief discussion about the intersection of homelessness, mental health, and discrimination. We are asking you to sign up by following the link below or in person after church. This will help us plan for room arrangement and food. We are requesting a $5 donation at the door to help pay for the meal. If you have any questions, contact Kim Rabon-Noyce at the church office.
