Good Enough: Some Things Take Time
Scripture: Luke 13: 1-9
Our scripture lesson is a story Jesus told about an owner who wants to cut down a fig tree that does not seem to be bearing fruit, and the gardener, who begs for one more year...
Some things take time. And even more time. Real change, real growth, sustainable relationships and communities take years of work and love and nurture.
Sometimes, in a culture that is increasingly fast-paced, we want short-cuts, we want instant gratification, instant fixes.
But, God knows us, and knows that true growth and change takes real time and effort.
Let’s take a deep breath this Sunday, and learn from a fig tree...

Virtual Lenten Bible Study
"Witness to the Cross"
Join Rev. Nancy as she helps us see the events of Good Friday from the eyes of those who were present. The virtual study will occur on three nights and is based on the book by Amy-Jill Levine, titled Witness at the Cross.
On the 24th, Rev. Nancy will explore the women at the cross on Good Friday.
The class will be held at 7 PM on March 24 and 31 via Zoom.
