Join us this Sunday as we keep exploring how faith is both a Biblical and a family value. In today's turbulent times, what does it mean to have faith in God and in one another? How can faith strengthen our families and communities? How does what we learn in our first "families" impact our church and community family? Are we able to adapt and change?

In this final week of our series, we will spend some time looking at these questions as we continue thinking about what is next for SunCoast MCC and where we are called to be God's human presence to the community and world.

Looking for ways to become involved? Allen Black is holding a Lector/Reader training on Sunday, October 15th immediately after worship. This is a wonderful way to engage and help ensure Worship is a meaningful experience for all.

Celebrating the Life of

Allyson Fichter

A Memorial service for Allyson will be on Monday,

October 16th at 3 PM.

This will be a time to remember and celebrate her life.

Those attending are asked to wear purple.

Since Hispanic Heritage Month runs through the middle of October, we will not be reading a new selection this month. Instead we will celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month by having our next “Brunch & a Movie” on October 22. After church we will have a traditional pancake breakfast followed by a viewing of the movie, Milk, starring Sean Penn. This powerful biographical film teaches us about one of the heroes of our community and sheds light on an important time in our history. Mark your calendars and sign up to attend this fun event. (To help us plan for food, please sign up in the foyer on Sundays or email the Church office at info@suncoatmcc.com. A $5 donation is requested to help defray food costs.)

5:15 PM.

Venice Sun Coast Wind Ensemble Fall Concert

Join us on Friday, October 27th at 2 PM for an afternoon of music and fun. The Venice Sun Coast Wind Ensemble will be having a fall concert featuring some fun Halloween music along with a time of honoring our Veterans as we prepare to celebrate Veteran's Day in November.

Come spend a relaxing afternoon listening to your favorite music with

Director Lynn Cleary and the Sun Coast Wind Ensemble.

These dedicated musicians will entertain you!
