A reading about the Gaelic Beannacht
Sometimes all you can do is bless someone and wish them blessing. You can’t change what they’re going through, though you wish you could. It’s difficult to figure out how to ease their suffering or bear their burden. Sometimes all you can do is send them love from within, hold hope for them when they can’t for themselves and send them blessing.
"Beannacht” is the Gaelic word for “blessing.”
A “currach” is a large boat used on the west coast of Ireland, often used in Celtic language as a symbol for one’s journey.
And maybe that’s all we can do – wish people well on their journey, send them love, intend them peace that they may feel some safety and comfort in the bow of the boat, though the waves may crash for a time.

"Bless to Me"
This Sunday, the last in our Blessed to Me series, we focus on the gift of God’s Presence.
Our story is of Jacob wrestling with the Angel in Genesis 28. After wrestling all night long, Jacob comes to the awareness that it was God all along! He says, “Surely the Presence of God was in this place, and I did not know it!”
We will, of course, sing that wonderful song, “Surely the Presence of Our God is in this place.” And, we will reflect on why it is that we sometimes are unaware that God has been there all along. . .
The last few Sundays, in music, testimony, sermons, prayer and communion, we have felt a surge, a stirring of the presence of God among us – join us in person or online and be blessed!

SunCoast MCC Stewardship
Prayer 2021
BOUNTIFUL GOD, thank you for the many blessings You have bestowed on me and all those I love – especially the blessings of the Community and Ministries of SunCoast MCC.
I am grateful for the time, talent and treasure of those who preceded me at SunCoast MCC providing its blessings for me today. Grant me wisdom as I contemplate my financial
stewardship
obligations so that MCC may thrive today and be there in the future for those who need the blessings of this faithful Community and its many Ministries.
In Jesus’ Holy Name, we pray.
Amen

A Piece of SunCoast MCC History!
While Linda and her wonderful volunteers were cleaning and organizing the Chapel and sheds, they found 8 of the "gold" shovels that were used in the ground breaking ceremony of the current SunCoast MCC Sanctuary.
If you would like one of the shovels as a memento of our history, please let Linda know.

We are so thankful for all your support and cooperation during these unique times.
Thank you for working together ensuring the health and safety of all who enter our Church
- We ask that everyone wear a mask while in the Church. This is for your safety and the safety of others.
- We will greet each other from a distance for now with no handshakes, hugs, fist pumps or elbow bumps.
- Our Ushers will continue to offer to escort you to a seat, and if you prefer to maintain social distance, they will assist you.
- There will be limited congregational singing.
- We ask you to continue to avoid congregating inside the building before and after Worship.
- And, of course, if you are sick or feel symptoms of COVID, please stay home and enjoy the service online or on YouTube.
Thank you all for your patience and cooperation.
