For November, the Social Action Book Club will be reading a powerful novel in recognition of Native American History Month. The book There, There, by Tommy Orange, introduces us to a variety of characters as they make their way to the annual Big Oakland Powwow. This is an opportunity for all of us to better understand the challenges and strength of these people who share a common bond. Our discussion will be on Monday, November 20 at 7:00 pm via zoom. If you haven’t joined us before, I encourage you to give it a try. It’s a great way to connect with people you may not know while exploring social justice issues.
