“A Place at the Table”

MCC is known for its inclusivity and welcome of all people. We offer an open communion to all, regardless of membership status, etc.

This Sunday we will look at a parable Jesus told to the disciples about taking a seat at a banquet table.

We will explore what it means to welcome all people into our church and how we can stretch ourselves a bit to include everyone!

September Potluck & Prayer

Join the Pastors on Thursday, September 7th

at 5:30 PM for a time of food, fellowship and prayer.

Please use the form in the lobby to let us know you are joining us or email the church office at Info@suncoastmcc.com

The Community Partnership Team will be meeting on Thursday, September 7th at 4 PM.

This ministry is a great way to support our community and enjoy fellowship with others.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, which begins September 15, the Social Action Book Club will be reading Dreams From Many Rivers: A Hispanic History of the United States Told in Poems. Through her poetry, Margarita Engle takes us from 1491 to the present, sharing the different experiences of native and immigrant citizens of Hispanic descent. This easy read is fascinating as we hear the different voices with common threads. The book club will meet via zoom on September 18 at 7:00 PM.

September Crafting with Lorna

Join Lorna on September 13th and 27th at 10 AM for crafting, fun and fellowship.

Calling all volunteers

We need your help! Please mark your calendar and join us in preparing the Church for homecoming weekend.

Wednesday, September 20th starting at 9:30 AM, we need to do a deep cleaning in the Sanctuary and setup the tables and chairs for the weekend Homecoming Celebration.

We have an exciting Homecoming Dinner and Worship coming up September 23 and 24, 2023.

We are welcoming Rev. Wanda Floyd from our MCC Global Staff to speak about her work with emerging churches and ministries around the world, and how we can be connected to these ground-breaking stories of hope!

During the dinner on Saturday, we will hear from Wendy LaChaunce from Church of the Trinity MCC, about their support for MCC in Kampala, Uganda, and the amazing work they accomplish there for children, people with AIDS, and women.

Planning on joining us for dinner on Saturday, September 23rd?

Please RSVP using the link below or the form in the lobby.
