Welcome Reverend Doctor William H. Knight
our Guest Minister

The transition from actor, singer, producer, writer, and director to minister, teacher, and counselor began on a Wednesday night when William attended a class being held at the home of legendary singer/actress Della Reese. This first meeting was to become a working relationship that endured and prospered for over twenty-three years.

In August of 1995, William was ordained as a minister. He received a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Metaphysics from the University of Metaphysics and a Doctor of Divinity Degree from the University of Sedona.

In 2007, his spiritual path led him to the welcoming arms of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches. He has served as Intentional Interim Minister at Water of Life MCC in Tucson, Arizona, Intentional Interim Minister at MCC of San Jose, California, Provisional Pastor of MCC San Francisco, Pastor of Open Arms MCC on the Big Island of Hawaii and is now serving as Senior Pastor of MCC San Antonio.

Rev. William has participated in Inter-Faith services in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Tucson, San Jose, San Francisco, Hawaii and San Antonio.

Rev. Dr. Knight is a great believer in the important role that the church plays in the health and well-being of the community. He firmly and completely believes that when the church is involved and dedicated to translating the “Good News” of God’s radically inclusive love into concrete actions, everyone is blessed.

About the New
Worship series
Starting January 3
We will be starting a new 6 week series this week. During worship, we will spend time on being "Drawn In."

We spend too much time being “driven” rather than “drawn in.” We focus on what we “should” do rather than what we feel excited and compelled to do in our lives, in this world. During this series, we will connect with our inherent creativity and nurture this foundational aspect of being human, giving us renewed energy for passionate work, delightful play, and creative problem solving to make this world a better place for all.
"Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you."
1 Timothy 4:14
