How exciting to be planning our first outdoor, Sunday morning gathering at SunCoast MCC. This is our first in-person worship since mid-March. Close to 50 persons have signed up. All our teams have been at work to make this safe and possible. We will also be live streaming, so that everyone can participate!

This Sunday is our Pride Sunday. It is always amazing to me to know that just the idea of a church at which Pride is celebrated year round, is revolutionary! We will hear about the stories of MCC and Pride, of the truth of our faith that the church of Jesus Christ is where “all belong,” where there is always a place at the table, and where the promise is that “all” really means “all.” By your presence, in person or online, this Sunday, you make that promise real!

Dear SunCoast MCC Family and Friends,

We have raised more than $1,125.00 towards our new sound system for outdoor events and Services at SunCoast MCC. Bless you for your generosity, as always!!

Come Sunday, Nov. 8 to see and hear our sound system in action -- and be sure to make a reservation so we can be prepared!
Instructions for those SunCoast MCC members and friends who are attending the Nov. 8 Outdoor Service.

SunCoast MCC is practicing social distancing.

  1. If you are not feeling well, are ill or have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, we encourage you to watch the Service virtually.
  2. Follow all signage or instructions given by the volunteers.
  3. Wear comfortable shoes, bring hand sanitizer, an umbrella, suntan lotion, bug spray, hat and anything else you need for your comfort.
  4. Wear your mask during the entire service and until you exit safely.
  5. You do not need to bring a chair. Chairs will be setup in advance. Please do not move them to another location. The chairs were setup based on households and the registrations received.
  6. No socializing, hugging, shaking hands or kissing even though that’s what we would have normally done before the pandemic.
  7. Maintain a minimum of 6 feet distancing at all times.
  8.  If you need to use the restrooms, they are open on a limited basis through the front entry door.
  9. A communion cup has been placed on your chair. Please do not open it until we are in that part of the communion service. Take the cup home with you.
  10. Exit promptly but, please wait until instructed. We will be exiting by rows.
