We continue our worship series, “Roll Down, Justice!” based on the Prophet Amos’ message to “let justice roll down like waters.” Love and forgiveness is at the core of seeking justice. One of the things we promise in our baptismal vows is to be a community of love and forgiveness. Each day we must choose between letting the difficult things about life create resentment in us or allowing the work of forgiveness to make way for love.

To minimally cover the Church expenses during this time, we need approximately $6,000 weekly. For week ending August 23, 2020, we collected $2,112.00 for General Fund* and $645.00 for Pillars**.
*Funds the church's operating expenses (i.e., utilities, salaries, maintenance of property, worship/multi-media expenses, bank fees, internet, copier, office supplies, tithe, etc.)
**Funds the church's mortgage, insurance and taxes.

Pastoral and Congregational Team Update |
Do you have a Prayer Request? SunCoast MCC continues to find ways to stay connected with you through regular phone check-ins, drive-by gatherings, Zoom programs, bible studies and prayer surges. All to support you.
Your need for comforting and lifting prayers are important to us. Each month, with your permission, we will list your prayer requests in Staying Connected as a way to enlist the congregation to join in prayer. However, if you prefer, we can pray with you in private. Please send us your prayer requests at any time.

Remembrance Day

We will be placing leaves for each of them on our memorial Tree of Life in a special celebration during the worship service and honoring each one of them. This is a way to show support and love for their spouses and friends who have not been able to have a funeral or memorial service. We are accepting memorial gifts in their honor.
