WIN Food Pantry
Once again the members of Temple Beth Tikvah have come forward to help support their Wayne neighbors in need. From the High Holidays until Thanksgiving, our members contributed 40 bags and 5 cases of food to the Pantry, as well as donations of almost $400. This pandemic that has devastated many in this country has made its presence known in Wayne. There are now 154 families in our community depending upon the Pantry to provide food, and your generosity has helped sustain the Pantry’s mission to satisfy their needs. The Pantry is once again open for food drop-offs, but the hours are limited. They can receive food donations on Monday and Wednesday from 1-4 PM, and on Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11AM. The Pantry is located at the Wayne YMCA next door to the former JFCS office. It’s best to call if you have a drop-off to be sure someone will be there. The number to call is: 973-595-1900.
As always, monetary donations are also gratefully accepted. Checks can be made out to WIN Food Pantry, and mailed to : Wayne Interfaith Network, PO Box 3341, Wayne, NJ 07470-3341. If you send a check, please note on the memo line that you are a member of TBT.
Again, thank you for being good neighbors and for participating in the mitzvah of giving help to those in need. If you have any questions about WIN, please feel free to contact Lynn Cooper (973) 696-5549.

The current food assistance needs in Wayne are greater than any one organization can provide. For this reason, these organizations and food pantries have united efforts to serve Wayne residents during this pandemic and beyond. Many families, senior citizens and single residents are impacted, some for the first time, by the physical, mental and financial strains of this crisis.
Please consider adding something to your shopping list, check your cabinets, and join this effort.
Please click here for a list of needed items and here for more information on how you can help.

CARING COMMUNITY IS HERE FOR YOU!
