Greetings Presbytery Family,

On this sacred Ash Wednesday, as we mark the beginning of Lent, may the solemnity of reflection and the promise of renewal intertwine with the warmth of love shared on Valentine's Day, guiding our presbytery community towards a season of spiritual growth, grace, and compassionate fellowship. This edition of Staying Connected highlights upcoming events at Montgomery Center and shares other events taking place around the presbytery.

Fish Fry Fridays

Join Montgomery Center each Friday, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., during the Lenten season for Fish Fry Fridays. Fish meals are $15, fish and shrimp meals are $20 and kids meals are $8. Meals come with two sides, hushpuppies, dessert and a drink.

Deeply Loved: Spring Challenge Retreat

Youth Retreat

We hear so often that God loves us. Those words sound great, but we often find it hard to sustain the feeling that we are loved today, always and forever. How can we hear those words again and protect them? Carry them with us in good times and in challenging times? During the Spring Retreat, we’ll discover ways that we hear God speak those words to us and develop ways that can fit into our busy schedules.

Who: This retreat is for youth in grades six through 12.

When: March 1 through 3

Summer Camp Positions Available

Each summer Montgomery looks to hire about 20 staff to be cross-trained superheroes. Staff attend a 10-day training prior to the start of camp sessions that will fully immerse them into the camp culture & experience.

We are looking for individuals that aren't afraid to spend their days outside being a Christ-like role model for today's youth and who are not afraid to step up and serve daily with other like-minded people!
