Holiday Blessings

Psalm 31:24: “Be strong and take heart, all you who

hope in the Lord.”

Heavenly Father,

You are the God of Hope. Walk with us on this Advent Journey as we prepare to celebrate the birth of your son Jesus. Father during this time of Advent let us remember to fix our eyes on the only reason for this season that is your son who is the hope for a broken world. May you fill our spirits with the hope and joy of Christ’s coming. Amen.

Exciting News: Caretaker House Rebuild Approved at Camp Farwesta!

Your Support Makes Year-Round Ministry Possible

Dear Friends and Supporters of Camp Farwesta,

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news! At the 2025 FWMC Fall Conference, the congregation officially approved the much-needed and anticipated project to rebuild the Caretaker House on our campgrounds. This is a significant step forward for our ministry, and we couldn’t have reached this milestone without your prayers, encouragement, and ongoing support.

We Need Your Help: Financial and Prayer Support

The Caretaker House is essential for Camp Farwesta’s year-round operations. It provides comfortable, on-site housing for our caretaker, who keeps the camp running smoothly and ensures a welcoming environment for every group that visits—no matter the season. Without this home base, maintaining our facilities and supporting our events would be a real challenge.

As we begin this new chapter, we are inviting you to partner with us. Your financial gifts and continued prayers are vital to make this rebuild possible. Every contribution, large or small, will help us create a space that truly serves our ministry and the many guests who call Camp Farwesta their home away from home.

How to Contribute

If you feel led to support the Caretaker House project financially, we ask that you reach out to your congregation’s CFO or connect directly with Lynn Wilson at FWMC. They can provide details on how to make your gift and answer any questions you may have. Your generosity will go directly toward building a home that supports our mission for years to come.

Thank You for Standing With Us

We are deeply grateful for your faithful support, encouragement, and prayers. Camp Farwesta has always been a special place because of friends like you, and we can’t wait to see how God continues to use this ministry with your help.

Visit and Share Our New Website

We’re also excited to announce the launch of our brand new Camp Farwesta website! We hope you’ll take a moment to visit, explore upcoming events, and share the site with friends and family who might be interested in all that’s happening at camp. Your help spreading the word means so much to us.

Let’s Grow Together: Seeking New Groups

As we look to the future, we’re eager to welcome new week-long summer groups, weekend retreats, and RV groups to Camp Farwesta. If you know of ministries, organizations, or families searching for a beautiful, welcoming space for their next gathering, please encourage them to reach out or visit our website. Together, we can introduce more people to the joy and community found at Camp Farwesta.

Thank you once again for being an essential part of our journey. Your prayers, generosity, and passion make all the difference!

With gratitude and hope,

The Camp Farwesta Board
