As we approach this year’s Camp Haven, June 8-12, we are excited to invite you to join us in prayer and support for this unique and meaningful experience. Camp Haven is not just another camp—it’s a place where young people who have experienced the loss of a parent or sibling can find joy, healing, and hope, all in a safe and nurturing environment. The camp is offered free of charge thanks to the generosity of sponsors, and this year, we are extending an invitation for our Sr. High and Young Adults to take part in this life-changing opportunity as sidekicks to the children attending the camp.
As a sidekick, these teens will walk alongside these children, offering support, compassion, and companionship during their time at camp. It’s an opportunity for them to grow in leadership, gain invaluable life experience, and make a lasting impact on a child’s life. We know this will be a transformative experience for both the children and the teens involved.
We ask for your support in two powerful ways:
Prayer: Please keep Camp Haven in your prayers as we prepare to host these young participants. Pray for the children who will attend, for their healing, for the safety of all involved, and for the leadership and hearts of our Sr. High and Young Adult volunteers.
Encouragement: If you know any Sr. High teens or young adults who might be interested in being a part of Camp Haven, encourage them to join us! We would love for them to be part of this incredible opportunity to serve, grow, and make a difference. This is a free experience that will leave a lasting impact on everyone involved.
Let’s come together as a church family to make our second annual Camp Haven a success, and to support those who will serve as a source of light and hope for the children who attend.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
