Camp Haven needs campers!

Campers ages 8-12, spread the word, to those kids in need of a camp, where "kids can be kids again", who have experienced loss of a parent or sibling.

Be part of something life-changing! Camp Haven at Camp Farwesta is looking for amazing volunteers to help create a week full of fun, healing, and unforgettable memories for kids ages 8-12 who’ve experienced the loss of a parent or sibling.

There are so many ways you can get involved:

Lead activities
Lifeguard or help with lakeside fun
Support at the lake
Be a camp counselor
Serve as a nurse
Help in the kitchen

…and more!

Whether you can volunteer for the whole week or just one day, we’d love to have you!

All volunteers must complete a background check and Youth Worker Certification to ensure a safe environment for the kids we’re serving.

Camp Haven Volunteer Application

The Beauty of Camp Farwesta

New benches constructed by our Eagle Scout Candidate, Emmarie Estes. Beautify done right before camping season begins and is a great improvement for all camps to use. The other is some purple and white (unusual) Sweet Williams Flowers. They are blooming all over the campground. Also one of our pair of geese now have 8 very small goslings. Always a beautiful place during all seasons.
