You will need:

  • An exacto knife with #11 blade OR a small sharp scissors (like a cuticle scissors)
  • A piece of cardboard for underneath, while you are cutting
  • Glue
  • Piece of construction paper
  • Printed "shalom" template (Which we will email to you. If you don't have a printer, please let us know so we can print it for you.)

Fundraising Event in Support of
Jewish Family Services
Past President Dr. Doug Barton poses with L'Dor V'Dor. Doug carved the above sculpture from Indiana Limestone. The piece is to be purchased by the community to display at the Jewish Federation with all proceeds being donated to Jewish Family Services.
Doug Barton and the Jewish Federation invite you to raise funds to purchase Doug’s sculpture, L’dor V'dor, for the Jewish community. This will be a unique sale in that it will be a community-wide purchase of this piece of art, with all proceeds being donated to JFS. 

You are welcome to participate in this collective fundraising effort by making a gift of any size in multiples of Chai: $18, $36, $54, $72, $90, ...$180, and beyond.
 
L'Dor V'Dor sculpture donations will be accepted through Thanksgiving.

All proceeds go to support the important work of JFS.
 
Please help us purchase the L’dor V'dor sculpture to secure a piece of Doug's Judaic art for the Jewish Federation's community building, a structure that was built and dedicated during Doug's presidency.

Director General Soczewica returns to complete his discussion of the Auschwitz- Birkenau network of 20 camps with club member Michael Traison, a partner with Cullen & Dykman, LLP.

Part 1 explored Auschwitz, its buildings, and the events that took place there. Part 2 expands on that with a real-time livestream from Birkenau, a detailed description of its physical plant, and discussion of its role in “The Final Solution.”
