RE-U-"KNIGHT"ED and it Felt So Good!
The classes of 1969, 1979, 1989, 1999 and 2009 gathered this summer to celebrate their class reunions. Whether it's been 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, or 50 years since our Alumknights walked the hallways of Bishop Kelly High School; all were happy to return, see the amazing changes at our beloved alma mater, and reconnect with good friends. Please come back anytime!! Bishop Kelly's doors are always open to you!

Cherie Brady; lovingly surrounded by her eleven children, all whom graduated from Bishop Kelly High School... Pat '69, Shannon '71, Joanne '72, Kelly '73, Peggy '74, John '75, Mike '76, Colleen '78, Tim '79, Nick '81, and Beth '84 gathered at BK for the unveiling of a beautiful stone bench the family installed in honor of their parents, and all the sacrifices they made to assure they each received a Catholic education. Their father Hugh passed away in 2003.

Marianne (Winsky) Pelletier '72, appointed to lead Maine Catholic Schools as Superintendent
Marianne Pelletier (aka Marianne Winsky, Bishop Kelly Class of 1972 and former St. Mary's Principal Marianne White) has recently been named as the new superintendent of Maine Catholic Schools. "I’m honored and humbled that the bishop has asked me to serve in this way. It’s an exciting time in our diocese to expand our outreach of partnership to current families and those who will consider a Catholic school for their child,” she said. “Catholic schools are special places. Our learning environments will emphasize successfully proven approaches to education as well as spiritual growth for our children.” Marianne continues to support her alma mater of Bishop Kelly through our One Day One Knight Annual Day of Giving. Thank you and Congratulations on your much deserved new role Marianne! Read complete story here

It's Better to Give and Receive

When we depart this life for the next, we won't be remembered by the clothes we wore, the kind of car we drove or the house in which we lived. Rather, we will be remembered by the impact we have made on others. Most of us hope and desire that our lives and choices make a positive difference, a lasting impression and legacy for which our family, friends and community can remember us.

At Bishop Kelly High School, we have witnessed the countless ways in which our beloved donors have changed the lives of our students by their generous gifts to the school and to the Bishop Kelly Foundation endowment upon their deaths.

Your gift through the Legacy Society will be everlasting and will ensure the future of Catholic education. You will leave behind a lasting memory for your family, and show your commitment to your faith and a desire to see that faith passed on to future generations.

Become a member by informing the Bishop Kelly Foundation or Bishop Kelly Development Office that you have included Bishop Kelly in your will or made our school the beneficiary of any type of deferred gift. Your gift will ensure Bishop Kelly's future and can provide you with significant tax and estate benefits.
