Everyone at Prevention is Key is hoping you and your loved ones are staying well.

Here are this week's updates of news & resources.

Available 7-days a week, a highly-trained Atlantic Health System nurse will answer your call and direct you to the resources you need regarding:
  • COVID-19 Symptoms
  • Food insecurity
  • Housing
  • Job loss
  • Social Needs
  • Behavioral health (anxiety, loneliness, feeling overwhelmed)

Hours of operation:
Monday – Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm)
Saturday – Sunday (9:00am – 3:00pm)


Parents of children with mental health needs, developmental/intellectual disabilities, or substance use needs can contact PerformCare at 1-877-652-7624 or go to performcarenj.org for assistance.

In this time of isolation, it's easy to turn to gaming as an outlet for escapism. Studies have started to show a correlation between early onset adolescent gaming as a gateway to problem gambling or other potential issues that may arise later in life.

As with any addiction, treatment and early intervention utilizing various approaches can be very effective. 800-GAMBLER is here to help.

Seniors/disabled persons aged 60 and older can receive a daily phone call from a dedicated “Telephone Reassurance” volunteer, providing company and friendship during this challenging time.

This can also be a meaningful volunteer opportunity for students and members of the community.
