Greetings Members and Friends of The Engineering Society of Detroit!
I hope you are doing well. At ESD, we're continuing to adapt to a new way of “normal." Our team continues to work from home as we prepare for a safe return to our office sometime this summer. We've been busy putting plans together for our late summer and fall events, which include:
FE and PE Review Courses
Classes start in July
Our review courses are transitioning to an online format. The
FE Review Course
starts July 21 and the
PE Review Course
starts July 25. Participants learn in a small-group online setting from instructors who have first-hand knowledge of the course material.
We're excited and looking forward to coming together in a safe environment while enjoying a fun day of networking in support of engineering. Proper health and safety measures will be adhered to. The outing will be held at the Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton. Golf outing proceeds help support endeavors like educational and scholarship programs and ESD Student Chapters.
Join ESD and its Affiliate Council for a unique event as hundreds of professionals representing 100+ Affiliated Technical Societies come together to honor and recognize its leaders. This year's 2020 Gold Award Recipient is Dr. Arup Gangopadhyay, nominated by The Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE).
Tailored specifically to engineering and technology professionals, ESD's job fairs are the premier recruitment event whether you're a seasoned professional, a recent graduate or an in-between careers job seeker. Employers - recruitment booth packages are now available.
Hosted by DTE Energy and The Engineering Society of Detroit
In its 23rd year, this conference, the only one of its kind in Michigan, is designed to educate small to large commercial and industrial businesses on technology, products, and services that will assist them in successful energy management.
