Spring is the ideal time to host a Smart City Kids workshop! SCK offers workshops on the admissions process for all grade levels - nursery school, Kindergarten - 12th grade, college, boarding school and special education. We also conduct workshops on topics related to education and parenting.

In addition to admissions workshops, other recent topics have included executive function, growth mindset, and navigating challenging behaviors. We are also happy to create a workshop on a topic of interest to your community.

Tutor Highlight!
Smart City Tutors provides families with quality instruction from experienced tutors. Our tutors specialize in a range of subjects, as well as offering general academic support, executive functioning guidance, and test preparation.

This month we are highlighting Madeleine Joyce. Madeleine has tutored for over a decade in a range of subjects and for students ages 8 to 18. One of SCK’s most active and experienced tutors, Madeleine tutors writing, reading, social studies, math and Spanish. She especially loves to nerd out over grammar with her pupils!
Madeleine has helped students improve their standardized test scores—including the SAT/ACT—by hundreds of points by teaching to teach kids’ unique learning styles, centering their talents and goals, and cheerleading them throughout the whole journey. She is creative, inspiring and warm. And she loves her job!
