END OF YEAR 2018

Dear Steinbrenner Students, Families, and Teachers,

It is hard to believe that another school year is wrapping up.

We have had another great year as a PTSA and I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who helped us achieve our goals.  Some of you volunteered your time, whether it was 30 minutes or 3 hours, some of you donated money, some of you supported our fundraisers and some of you did all of those things. You really embody the spirit of the PTSA by joining together to support our staff and students.  You continue to make a positive impact on the lives of all children and families at Steinbrenner.

Thank you all.

It has been a great experience for me to hold the position of president of the PTSA for the last 2 years.  I would like to take this time to say congratulations to Heather Ceresoli (incoming president) and the executive board for the 2018-2019 school year.

Our Steinbrenner PTSA board is amazing.  The amount of hours each person dedicates to our children and school is enormous. The planning and execution of events is not always easy but they continue to pull them off and make it look easy.  Job well done!  We wish all of our outgoing board members the best.

I would also like to thank Ms. King, along with the faculty and staff at Steinbrenner for helping us fulfill our involvement.

All the best to the Graduating Class of 2018 and enjoy the summer!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
"A strong PTSA embodies parent involvement and parent involvement represents student success."
~Erica Dees
Steinbrenner PTSA President, 2017-18
What a great teacher Appreciation Week we had this year!  We are so proud of how all
of our parent volunteers and our wonderful Steinbrenner faculty, came together
to make this week special for everyone.  It was a week of fun, food, pampering and
most importantly showing our appreciation for the exceptional team that dedicates themselves to our children...all year long.  We are thankful for the dedication and
support from each and every committee volunteer, faculty member, event sponsor, community donor, PTSA Board Member, and of course, our Steinbrenner families!

We were able to spoil our teachers and faculty all week long with gifts, manicures, massages, shaved ice, specialty coffees, a catered breakfast, treats galore, and a delicious luncheon.  Thanks to our PTSA Board, we were also able to provide all of our teachers with a Staples gift card for school supplies!  Our "groovy" Beatles themed lunch was a big hit and
we have gotten quite a few notes of gratitude from faculty & staff, letting us know
how much they appreciated everything we did for them throughout the week.

Again, thank you to everyone who donated and helped make Teacher Appreciation Week a possibility.  Please take a moment to look at all the names on the attached flyer, as these are the individuals and businesses who supported Steinbrenner through a generous product or service donation. If you frequent any of the businesses listed, please take a moment to let them know how thankful we are for their support.  We not only have the best teachers, but the best families, as well!!  Enjoy your summer!

We would like to thank the following sponsors for their help in making the evening a huge success:
Sam's Club
Northside Florist
Sunset Cleaners
Watertight Roofing
Home Depot
Catering by the Family
Cheval Golf & Athletic Club

A big thank you to those families, teachers, and individuals who joined the Steinbrenner PTSA this year!  Thanks to your support, our PTSA surpassed its goal of 1000 members!  Your membership helped to grant 4 student scholarships, approximately 6
teacher grants, a well deserved Teacher Appreciation Week, a large donation to Steinbrenner High School to be used for extra security next year, several student programs, and more. Without your support, none of this would have been possible. Please look for the new membership form to join the 2018-19 PTSA on our website in the coming months.   Have a great summer!

The words "Thank You" do not seem to be enough to express my
appreciation for all the help with Senior events this year to include Senior Breakfast, Senior Banner hanging and talking down and Senior Day.

I appreciate parents from all grade levels stepping up to help out. You know you are all truly dedicated when you are willing to carry your
ladders around the school to put banners up and take them down!!

Without your help, the fun Senior Activities would not exist. Thank you again and I look forward to working with you next school year.
