YMCA Camp Lindwood MacDonald, Sandyston, NJ
Founded in 1988, Camp NOVA offers a week where youth and adults living with autism, epilepsy, and other developmental disabilities can try new things, build independence, and experience a real sense of belonging in a safe and supportive environment.
From swimming to arts and crafts, each day is packed with engaging, adaptive activities so that everyone can fully participate in everything camp has to offer.

FREE Youth Respite Program
The Family Resource Network’s Respite Connections Program is a Saturday drop-off respite service for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages 6-21.
When: Twice a month on Saturdays
Time: 10 AM – 2 PM
Where: The College of New Jersey
This program is made possible by funding from the Mercer County Aging and Disability Resource Connection. Youth must reside in Mercer County to participate.

Ready to get Out N’ About?
Registration for May 2026 Events Closes Monday, April 20th
Out N’ About is a group recreation program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each month, ONA brings adults together through social events, creative programs, and community outings that spark connection and create something to look forward to.
Programs take place across Morris, Essex, and Union Counties, and adults from all New Jersey counties are welcome to participate.

Scholarship Deadline Approaching!
Take the next step in your educational journey through one of the Family Resource Network's scholarships. Our scholarship opportunities are for graduating New Jersey high school residents who plan on pursuing post-secondary education at a college or vocational level.

Weekend Respite Getaways
Open to all counties in New Jersey, our Respite Getaways create space for adults with disabilities to enjoy engaging activities and friendships while caregivers take well-deserved time to rest and recharge.
Our May Respite Getaway is a Food Truck Festival + Overnight Hotel Stay! Participants will attend the Skylands Stadium Food Truck Festival to enjoy delicious food, drinks, and entertainment in a fun, accessible setting.

15th Annual Paint the Pony Purple ROCKED the Stone Pony
Our 15th Paint the Pony Purple was the best one yet! On March 22, we rocked the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, bringing in 367 attendees and raising nearly $50,000 for epilepsy awareness.
Congratulations to our Battle of the Bands winner, Prominent Slide, featuring guest guitarist Ben Weinman of Suicidal Tendencies and The Dillinger Escape Plan.
