[Coquitlam, BC] This August marks the 15-year anniversary of Superbad, the coming-of-age comedy written by Vancouver’s very own Seth Rogen and writing partner Evan Goldberg. For the past decade and a half, the film has become somewhat of a cult classic, with many hilarious one-liners, including the memorable “I gotta sit and eat my dessert alone like I’m Steven Glansberg”. |

Despite the successful comic effect in this scene, Steven Glansberg is not a made-up character, but a reference to Stephen Glanzberg (correct spelling), Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s close high school friend.
