4-H: Discover Together                        November 4, 2022

  Hello 4-H Families & Volunteers!

4-H enrollment is open and we are seeing a steady flow of members coming in! If you have not re-enrolled yet, please use the ZSUITE button below to navigate to Zsuites to create your household account! Remember - we are no longer using 4honline for enrollments, the new system is called Zsuite. If you are a 4-H member re-enrolling this year the deadline for enrolling is December 1.

A huge thank you, goes out to everyone who helped and attended our 2022 Awards & Recognition Event on October 22. We had great weather and a nice attendance for this event! If you were not able to attend, and received an award, we sent them home with your 4-H leaders.

Please check the Calendar of Events this week, there are new dates added to it, and one that was changed. The Junior Livestock Conference for Jr. High Students has been changed from Jan. 14-15 to Jan. 21-22. Please save this date, if this pertains to your child. More details and registration will be coming out in the next few weeks!

New in this E-News are flyers for Robotics Club, Livestock Judging Team, and I Made That kits. All of these have a registration page open and ready for your kids to sign up! Also, 4-H Camp Counselor Application Packets are now ready!

We want to welcome all of our new 4-H members that have joined in the last 2 weeks! Please help me welcome:

  • Jacob, Olivia, & Leah Eilers / Lawson Atwater / Renin Scheffner to the German Valley Golden Eagles
  • Jake Freier to the Florence Crickets
  • Grant Marvin / Liliana Smith to the Pearl Valley Rangers
  • Paxton Bastian to the Snappy Snazzers
  • Chase Kent to the Lena Lucky Clovers

It is exciting to see our numbers grow in Stephenson County 4-H, please make sure you introduce yourselves to these new members at your next 4-H meeting and help them feel welcomed to your club!

We will be closed at the Extension office on Tuesday, November 8 for Election Day.

Enjoy your Weekend!
