"One Stop Shop" Website for Class of 2026
|
|
In an effort to provide more information all at once, we have created a website as a "One Stop Shop" for all things you need to know or complete as you transition in to the KSUCPM Class of 2026.
The website contains great information as you take steps to move to Cleveland, complete checklist items prior to orientation, learn more about the fall schedule and much more. We encourage you to "bookmark" this site and refer to it often. As this website is specifically designed for members of the Class of 2024, the website is not visible to the public. Use the link below.
|
|

Drug test results are due by July 15, 2022.
Due to the nature of your clinical coursework, KSUCPM requires a drug test from all incoming students.
You will take the drug test form you receive to a Quest Diagnostics Testing Center. Do not fill out the form until you arrive to the drug testing center. KSUCPM will only consider drug test reports from Quest Diagnostics. Other reports will not be considered.
Quest Diagnostics are located all across the country. To find a Quest Diagnostics location near you, please call 1-800-877-7484 or visit their website: Quest Diagnostics. If searching for a location, indicate "Drug Test, Urine" under Reason for Testing.
Drug testing reports will be electronically submitted to the Office of Enrollment Management at KSUCPM. You do not need to send anything to our office once you have completed your drug test.
Please note that you do not have to pay for this drug test fee at Quest Diagnostics. This fee is included as part of your tuition and fees as a 1st year KSUCPM student.

KSUCPM issues parking permits to all students. We would encourage you to complete the KSUCPM parking registration form prior to arriving on campus for orientation, as it takes a few days to process.
Please note that you will need your Flashline information to log-in and register your vehicle. You will be asked to include information about your car, including make, model, license plate number and vehicle owner.
Parking permits will be issued during orientation.
To access the below form, you will need to be signed into your Kent State account (and not another Gmail or Google account) or access will be restricted.
Note: Leave the Decal Number and Date Issued Blank. If you do not know your new address in Northeast Ohio, you may use your "home" address.
Parking Registration is due July 22, 2022.

The FLASHcard is your Kent State University ID card and more.
Your card will let you take materials out of the Kent State libraries, access services such as Student Recreation & Wellness Center and athletic events, and purchase goods and services both on and off campus. You will use your FLASHcard to purchase meals in the dining hall.
Please submit Photos by July 22, 2022. Student ID cards will be issued during orientation.

If you haven’t done so already, now is the time to start taking the steps to secure an apartment and prepare for you move.
Finding an apartment online is the best place to start and narrow down your favorites. Many properties offer virtual tours of apartments. Click here for the Apartment Guide. It is only to be used as a guide. The apartments in the guide are where many of our students live now. There are other apartments in the area.
Steps to take when looking for a place to live:

Call properties that interested you.
- Find out availability and move in date.
- Ask your list of questions.
Secure apartment with your deposit and lease.

Start preparing for your new apartment.
- Making a list of items that you will need to pack.
- Making a list of items that you will need to purchase for your apartment.
- Arranging Internet/Cable services (Apartment company should be able to provide you with a list)

A roommate list has been started if you are interested in finding someone to live with. Only those who inquire about the list will receive it and have their contact information added. As it is updated, those on the list will receive the updates.
If you have questions about housing, need a letter confirming you are an incoming student to provide to an apartment complex, or wish to be added to the roommate list, please email Lorie Evans at lfranck2@kent.edu.
