Steps to Your Future is an e-newsletter designed to inform the Class of 2026 of any news or updates related to your class and/or the College.

As you will read about below, KSUCPM has developed a website specifically for the Class of 2026. Updates will be shared on that website. The e-newsletter will supplement the website.

We will continue to update the website for any pertinent information relative to orientation or information you may need as you begin classes at KSUCPM.
Checklist
As you review the website, you will find items necessary to complete prior to orientation.
These items include, but are not limited to:

The College has reached out to students missing any of the checklist items. It is critical that you submit any outstanding items as soon as possible so we can complete your file so it can be transferred to the Academic Offices.
Orientation Schedule & Choose Your Experience
Please review the Incoming Student Orientation schedule, as it does allow students to choose an experience on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

Make sure you select your experience by Friday, July 22, 2022. Students who do not select an experience will be assigned an experience.

There are limits to each session and some may "close" when they have reached capacity.

Students will have the opportunity to play some outdoor games after orientation on Tuesday and Thursday.

Games: Jumbo Jenga, Ladder Toss, Cornhole, Yardzee and more. (Participation is optional.)
Class of 2026 Orientation
Orientation will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022 through Thursday, July 28, 2022 in Classroom C on the CPM campus.

We will have staff and students on site to guide you throughout the building.

Attire is "Casual." Please no shorts or tank tops.

Things to bring:

1.) If possible, bring your laptop on Tuesday, July 26. Information Technology Services will be discussing programs used as a MS-1.

2.) A sweater or cardigan. The classrooms can get chilly.

3.) Paper and pen if you are someone who likes to take notes by hand.
Parking on Campus
When arriving to campus, please park in designated areas. Students can park in the areas indicated with yellow stars.

You will enter the building through the main doors and will be directed to the orientation location from there.      
Docusign Forms

Students will need to complete the DocuSign link, which contains information for courses and anatomy lab.

These forms are due Monday, July 25, 2022.

White Coat Ceremony
Student White Coat

The Class of 2026 White Coat Ceremony will be held for the Class of 2026 on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 3:00pm.

The event location and other details will be released during orientation.
Tours of Campus

Tours will be offered to students in the Class of 2026 on Thursday July 28.

If you are unable to tour on the above noted date, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Non-scheduled visits to campus are not recommended at this time because we may not have the staffing to provide tours.
